Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from I love the Picturemate Charm I have used the Epson Picturemate Charm photo printer that I ordered from B&H several times and ran out of the ink cartridge it came with so I ordered the T5846 print pack. It has 150 pictures in it. The photo printer makes great 4x6 photos which is all I need. It is simple to use and the photos produced are excellent in color. You can print photos from your camera, SD cards or computer.
It is a little bigger than I expected, but it has a handle on it for easy carrying. I don't really have anything bad to say about the Picturemate Charm. While the photo paper does make excellent pictures and the ink cartridge provides excellent color as well, the problem is you cannot purchase one without the other. The pictureMate printer for which this product was created does not have any other options. Very quickly you will find yourself with a surplus of 4 X 6 photo paper. You cannot purchase just ink for this printer. I find this a very annoying issue.

I do not understand why Epson does not also give the customer the option of purchasing the ink cartridge only. I shoot alot of seniors and sell them a 4x6 print of each pose for them to make a high school senior memory book, they all love it. I had the first picturemate printer sold and used it until I wore it out and had to get a new one, and am now using it everyday. It is the best printer I have tried and I wouldn't want any other kind.
I have tried several different brands but this seems to run the cheapest and do the best quality. I don't think there is anything bad I can say about this product and I have used it fo about 4 years regularly in my business. I also end up buying extra paper to go along with the printpack because there seems to always be more ink than paper so it really prints cheap. It's a great deal. The quality of the prints is amazing but we never seem to get the ink to last for the 150 prints in the package or the inkjet nozzles clog and the ink is used up in the cleaning process.

I also use re-manufactured cartridges, which are much less expensive, but they tend to clog the nozzles more frequently. If Epson would sell the ink cartridge separately it would make things much easier.
